Middle Age 3

Morning to one and all, it seemed to be along week, but now it's the weekend. To start I shaved off my beard. I think that took 10 years off, I put a new sump plug on my wife's car, and now I'm writing this. No mood swings, just straight down the middle. I'm also about to take my son to a car boot sale (see what gems we can find) probably K'nex or power rangers, the usual stuff that he really has no use for after we've bought it. And I thought I'd put a picture on of me first thing in the morning, well, after I shaved anyway.

Regards.

Middle Age 2

Well that's the weekend nearly gone, quite uneventful really, got up went out came back. Went to the allotment for a bit of digging but just wondered through the woods instead, only thinking how beautiful nature is.It's a shame I didn't have my camera with me.
At home I am chief K'nex maker for my son (4), and to be fair it's becoming quite addictive. I might start taking photo's just to include.
I took the baby gate off the stairs, tidied the lounge and that's it.
But I must say I'm very chilled out.

Regards.

Middle age

Middle age is what I am, 44 and life seems to be speeding by, go to work 9 - 5 come home, eat, watch a bit of telly, sleep, then do it over again.
I no longer have the desire to compete against the younger man proving my masculinity, been there done that, now I am secure in who I am. Nothing to prove, nothing really to achieve. It seems I've given up, but no....
I go fishing, rock fishing that is, one of the most dangerous sports apparently. Walking, cycling, entertaining my 4 year old boy, going to the allotment, walking to and from work. Photography and that's sort of it really.
Over the next few months I'm going to write on here to see if the mid life crisis kicks in. I use to have a motor bike and the desire to reaffirm my youth is calling. Lets see.
